2009: Best year for sci fi this decade?

I would have to say it is hands down.

Star Trek
Moon
District 9
Watchmen
James Camerons: Avatar (I know it hasnt been released just basing off the hype)

If you do not agree what year would say was better?

Scar Jokes November 21, 2009 at 6:51 am: I wouldn’t consider Watchmen a sci-fi film, it’s more of a character drama with action sequences and superhero themes.

Star Trek, Moon (Rockwell was amazing), District 9 were all amazing and Avatar is going to be great, even if it isn’t flawless, the visuals are going to be beautiful.

I’d have to say, yes, Sci-Fi has been in bit of slump, but this summer definately helped.
