British science fiction horror film. The screenplay was written by Philip Eisner (with an uncredited rewrite by Andrew Kevin Walker) and directed by Paul WS Anderson. The film stars Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill. Although considered a box office failure (despite being #1 in its native UK), the film developed a cult following which resulted in the 2006 release of a two-disc special edition DVD and the 2008 release of a Blu-ray Disc edition. Dammit DJ was my favorite charecter!
ok ya’ll. @ 9:00 Who thinks that after the shit they witnessed on that ship, it was a great ideal to split up just one more time? we go everywhere together!!!!!! period.
as much as we would love to have them. you just can’t risk having a gun as we know it in a space ship. one miss fire could be deadly to the ship. now a stungun would be the choice.
LOL!!!!!!
captain “im standing infront of the hull, so u better not miss” Weir “what makes u think i will miss?” urm…. take a guess
yeah i see the symbols too
Milleeeeeer!… MILLAAAAAAAAA!!!
You say that as if i was saying something derogatory towards Dead Space, its one of my favourite games so i think you took my comment the wrong way.
@Wardimus83 I believe the development team for Dead Space fully acknowledges that this movie (as well as the Alien franchise) was an extreme influence in this movie.
I disagree. I like him because he manages to keep a cool head amidst the mayhem. Gives us a sense that at least someone will make it.
@tuttt99
I actually feel that the movie suffers because of him… horror films try to comfort audiences with these characters, but they are also wasting precious time that could be used to scare the shit out of us.
Imagine how much more terrifying a movie like this would be without comic relief.
HERE I COME MOTHERFUCKERRRRRRRR
does anyone else think this movie is kind of like higurashi in space? iam not hating on the film i’m just wondering if anyone else thinks the same?
the doctor doesnt put up a fight at all!!
Cooper was my favourite character in the film!!
movie came out in 1997, so Ichi the killer would be ripping off this movie.
in my opinion, best 10 minutes of the movie just because of cooper’s lines
@musicman216 its cooler to use a giant rivet gun, though
@stratocaster1986able
All it would need is a bit of tempura oil and we’d be set!
None of these guys have a sidearm?
Wouldn’t one be standard issue for rescue missions? Atleast with the XO?
1:29 Ichi the killer anyone?
HOLY F…..Jesus, Weir’s a bit of a pshycho…superhuman strenght and what he did to the poor doctor…O.O…
For a guy with no eyes, Wier does seem to be able to find his way through the ship pretty easily, and not bump into anything…including furniture…
my mistake
