He doesn’t run, he boxes. He always tries to get the knock out, especially when the fighter is attempting to challenge him. He’ll just cruise to a decision, if the fighter isn’t doing much. And he only played it safe against fighters who were bigger then him.
Mayweather has actually faught the best fighters in his era. Yes, Baldomir was a bum. But Diego Corrales and Castillo were top notch fighters, and were in and out of the P4P list for a couple of years. Corrales was also bigger, taller, and stronger then Mayweather. And he was undefeated during that time. He had no answer for Mayweather’s defense, hand speed, and foot work.
And nobody considers Mayweather to be shit. Everybody who knows boxing, considers him to be a great fighter.
