One on One – Oliver Stone – 13 Mar 09 – Part 2

by admin on March 13, 2010

This week on One on One, meet the multi-Oscar-winning director and writer, Oliver Stone. His own life could make for a gripping film script, but for more than 30 years, he has been focused on creating box-office blockbusters that challenge those in authority, and societys accepted norms.

In the USA to dissent and question the “official’ truth is a right.

Oliver Stone is a legendary artist whose work is admired worldwide. As Chaplin says in “Limelight”, life is beautiful for the brave.

He is honest, respectful, intelligent and you are not. You however are rude, arrogant and of questionable intelligence. Perhaps this answers you question.

Can you imagine FOX doing an interview like this?

Oliver Stone is a patriot who served his country. You cant ask for more than that.

He says that to be really good at something, “you pay a price,” like a priest. That’s key. He’s underrated as a writer of DIALOGUE. That takes a great ear, as in JFK, which also holds your attention for three hours without a popcorn break. I see him as a WRITER first.

@ 3:27+ “it’s the radical liberals on both sides, and the radical conservatives are both equally intolerant of human behavior it seems to me…”
